Candyce has been with Five Wellbeing since the day our doors first opened and has been an integral part of the spa’s success ever since. As Manager of Therapists and Education, she is responsible for training each of our therapists, individually. Originally from New Mexico and the Din’e (Navajo Nation), she was born with a passion for traveling and wanted to explore the world, so she decided to choose a career that would allow her to work in any location and enrolled in massage school. She was hoping to work on cruise ships, but while in school she fell in love and chose to follow her heart and marry her best friend. Her career aspirations came back to life when she found out about day spas and realized she wanted both a career and love. Her passion for massage was complimented by her newly found interest in skincare and she was quickly hired by one of the most recognized day spas in Tucson, AZ. While there, she was fortunate enough to be trained by the Global Educator for Aveda in Berlin, Germany. She also trained with other high-end skincare lines, including Eminence, which we now carry in our spa.
Candyce learned about Five Wellbeing Studio + Spa through her network and moved to Colorado in 2017. “I remember walking into Five Wellbeing while it was being renovated and thinking, this is truly a special place. I knew my journey was just beginning and I’m still so honored to be here. It’s rewarding to share my knowledge and be able to create and collaborate with a team of professionals who are so talented, dynamic, and genuinely kind-hearted. I believe spa life is LIFE! The aromas, comfy robes, massages, beautiful skin, and feeling like your best self.” That is her passion – to make guests feel like their “best self”. She says, “I understand the importance of the mind, body, spirit connection and so I focus on the whole body to elevate the wellbeing of whomever I am working with.”
