I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is stepping into fall with renewed energy and inspiration. For many of us, this time of year feels like a fresh start — a chance to reset, reflect, and open ourselves to new possibilities.

A Time to Pause and Reconnect

According to the philosophy of the five elements, we are in the final month of the earth element before transitioning into our “harvest” season in October and November. September invites us to pause and ask:

How am I nurturing myself — and what truly matters to me?

The care we give ourselves now becomes the foundation for growth and abundance in the months ahead.

The Power of Self-Care in Uncertain Times

In times of uncertainty — whether global or deeply personal — self-care becomes essential. It’s easy to get swept up in busyness, worry, or distraction. But when we slow down and tend to our own wellbeing, we strengthen our resilience. We find steadiness in the midst of change.

Consistent care is one of the most powerful ways I know to nourish mind, body, and spirit.

That’s why our spa menu includes offerings like Elemental Sound & Chakra Therapy and Lounge Therapies. These treatments are designed to help you relax deeply, release what no longer serves you, and restore your natural balance.

When we allow ourselves to surrender to the body’s innate ability to heal, we not only feel healthier and happier — every part of our lives begins to flourish.

What We Nurture, Grows

A simple moment at the spa recently reminded me of the importance of routine care.

Over the summer, a wide stretch of grass on our property thrived during the rainy season. I assumed it didn’t need much attention. But when the intense heat arrived, that same grass dried out and withered — all because it hadn’t been consistently watered.

Around that same time, I passed a beautifully maintained golf course and thought:

What we nurture and care for flourishes. What we neglect, even unintentionally, suffers.

Tending to What Matters Most

The same truth applies to us.

Our wellbeing, our relationships, our dreams — they all require consistent care and presence, especially when life feels unpredictable.

This month, I invite you to nurture yourself with kindness and intention. Even the smallest acts of care create powerful ripple effects — sustaining us through change and uncertainty.

Gratitude for Our Community

For me, one of the greatest sources of nourishment is our Five Wellbeing community. I’m deeply grateful for each of you. It’s my heartfelt hope that whenever you visit us, you feel welcome, valued, and truly cared for.

With love and wellbeing,
Betsy
