As we welcome the month of April, I want to begin by sharing how honored we are to have been named Best Spa in Denver for the third consecutive year in Westword’s Best of Denver 2026 awards.

To everyone who took the time to vote for us—thank you.
Your generosity, your time, and your vote of confidence mean more than we can express. We are deeply grateful for our Five Wellbeing community and for your continued support.

The Spirit of Generosity

Generosity is a quality I deeply admire and strive to practice each day.

While it is often associated with financial giving, true generosity extends far beyond that. It lives in how we share our time, knowledge, kindness, and presence. Each act—no matter how small—has the power to uplift, connect, and create meaningful moments between us.

Spring, Wood & Natural Growth

In seasonal philosophy, the element of Wood is associated with spring—growth, renewal, and expansion.

At its core, Wood carries a generous spirit. It reminds us that growth is not a competition, but a natural unfolding of who we are becoming.

Nature does not hold back in spring. It expresses itself fully—through vibrant color, fragrance, warmth, and a quiet sense of possibility.

In the same way, generosity does not need to be grand.
It can be a gentle, consistent willingness to offer what we can:

  • Our attention
  • Our kindness
  • Our patience
  • Or simply, our presence

A Simple Moment of Generosity

I was reminded of this recently while out to dinner with a friend.

We had the kindest young waitress, and we were both so impressed by her. She was remarkably accomplished for her age, and we truly enjoyed getting to know her.

As she shared her goals and aspirations, my friend—who is a coach—offered thoughtful guidance and encouragement. It was a simple yet meaningful exchange, one she received with genuine appreciation.

She gave her time and openness, and we offered encouragement, insight, and wisdom—a beautiful example of generosity flowing both ways.

An Invitation for April

There are so many meaningful ways we can share what we have with one another.

This month, my hope is that you:

  • Feel supported in your own growth
  • Feel nourished by the generosity around you
  • Feel inspired to share your gifts in a way that feels authentic to you

With Gratitude

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your wellbeing journey.
It is an honor we never take for granted.

In wellbeing,

Betsy
